Building and managing world class quality infrastructure is a team effort relying on the cooperation and coordination of multiple organisations. The strength of the Quality and Conformity Council (QCC) in Abu Dhabi is in the composition of its core team of council members.

The Council’s board has representation from the federal standards agency Emirates Authority For Standardization & Metrology (ESMA), from the oil industry, public utilities, public health, the environmental agency and the private sector.

QCC's team members work across six activity areas including Testing Infrastructure, Standards, Conformity Schemes, Metrology Infrastructure, Legal Metrology and Consumer Safety. QCC is committed to developing our national human resource as part of its Emiratisation priority. We also have international experts and consultants contributing to our long term goals through knowledge transfer and sharing of best practices from around the world.

We are developing a world class Metrology Centre in Abu Dhabi and consolidating our testing facilities under one Central Testing Lab (CTL), expanding our team and pool of skills and talent rapidly.
In addition to full time staff, we will also have the nominated members joining our working groups and members of the general public giving feedback and reporting incidents to the QCC. Together we will all create a culture of quality in Abu Dhabi.
